What is SocioRAC?

SocioRAC is a multi-platform information management and social sharing app. It enables users to save copied data as Reminders, Archives, or Calendar entries, manage the data into folders, search and sort the data by, tags, info, etc., You can then filter according to source, folder and tags, and then share the data through various app like WhatsApp, Twitter, Facebook, etc. across various devices and platforms.

Why use SocioRAC?

Remember reading an interesting note, website, joke, article or message, and getting that feeling to store it as fast as you can, but then, you have to copy it, open an app which can store it, and then pasting it… Sounds tedious huh? NO MORE, now with the help of SocioRAC all you need to do is Select and do a single tap, SocioRAC will perform the rest. Any information which is saved, can be referred to,analyzed, formatted, printed later, or shared between various applications and devices,just with few taps. The user can be notified effectively for important reminders and calendar entries. The app is pass-code secured (optional), runs in the background and can be switched on/off as needed. Option to lock a folder can be additionally applied to increase a level of security. The data saved is also encrypted for privacy. Important documents such as word, pdf, image and excel can also be saved with the data. One of the unique features of this app enables directly saving important emails received from specific email IDs without any additional effort from the user. Also, data saved can be shared across multiple social media platforms with a single click.

How does SocioRAC protect my privacy and keep my information secure?

We know that your data is very important and we have various levels of securities.Ourdata is protected with encryption which ensures that except you nobody can accessyour data.There is an added option to secure your information by locking your application witha 6 pin passcode to protect access to your data if your phone is unlocked. If you want even more security, you can securely pass code selected folders, i.e., our app provides multi-level security.

How do I log in to my account?

Once you open the app, you will be directed to the Login page after the App tutorial.Enter your E-mail and Password and tap on the “Sign In’ Button to continue.OR If you are a new user, tap on the “New User? Sign Up” Option, Enter the required details and tap “SIGNUP”. You’ll shortly receive a Verification code via E-mail, enter that verification code to get signed in and continue.OR You can also “Log in with Facebook” by tapping the button and following the onscreen instructions.

What is the purpose of the “Sync Data” button?

While logging into your existing account we need a few moments to Sync/Get your data from our cloud servers. Tapping this button will bring all your data, i.e., your content,folders, tags, sources, attachments etc. from the backup on our server to your phone for faster access.

What do I do if I have forgotten my account password?

While you are on the login screen, tap on the “Forgot Password” button, and enter your e-mail in the blank provided. You will receive a verification code via e-mail. Enter your verification code and your “New Password” and tap on the change password button.

How do I log-out from my account?

Swipe Right from the left edge of your screen for the side menu, and tap the Logout Button. And tap “Yes” on the confirmation dialog.

How do I change my account password?

Swipe Right from the left edge of your screen for the side menu, tap on “User Information” option, then tap on “Change Password” option.Enter your current password and your new password, and then tap on “Change password” button

How can I change my account details (Name, Phone Number, etc.)?

Swipe Right from the left edge of your screen for the side menu, tap on “User Information” option. Change the Required Information and tap on “SAVE” button.

How do I change my application theme?

Swipe Right from the left edge of your screen for the side menu tap on “Settings” option.
Then tap on the “Themes” button and select your theme. 

What are print preferences and how do I change them?

Print Preferences control “What information from your content”, is displayed in the PDF file/ Printed to your printer. To modify this – Swipe Right from the left edge of your screen for the side menu, tap on “Settings” option. Then tap on the Print Preferences, select your printable content and tap “SAVE” button.

How do I add a Pin on the app or on a folder?

Swipe Right from the left edge of your screen for the side menu, tap on “Settings” option. Turn on the Application PIN or Folder PIN switch by tapping it > Enter the pass-code/pin then re-enter to confirm.

How do I remove the pass-code/ PIN from the Application or a Folder?

On going to the Settings page from the side menu(swipe right on the left edge of home screen), there is a switch labeled Application Pin or Folder pin, simply tap the switch to turn it off and then enter the current pass-code to confirm.

What should I do if I forgot my Password or Pin?

There’s a forget button, on the screen where you enter your pass code. Tap on it and you will get an e-mail with your Password or PIN on your registered email ID. Use it to unlock the App or the Folder

What if I don’t want a pop-up every time I tap “copy” button?

On going to the Settings page from the side menu (swipe right on the left edge of homescreen), there is a switch labeled Pop-Up, simply tap the switch to turn it off.

How do I copy content to SocioRAC if the pop up is switched off?

Once you select the content you want to take to the app, simply use the ‘share’ menu option to take the content to the app.

How do I add a new Folder?

Swipe right from the left edge of the screen for the side menu >Tap on Folder Management and then tap on ‘+’ button >Type the Folder name and tap ‘save’ button

How do I add a new Tag?

Swipe right from the left edge of the screen for the for the side menu >tap on tag management and then tap on ‘+’ button >Type the Tag name and tap ‘save’ button

How do I add a new Source?

How do I Search for my object?

While being in any of the folder views (all Folders or any particular folder), tap on the search button on the top (Magnifying glass looking icon), and type the content to search to view the content having the searched content.

How do I filter my objects?

While being in any of the folder views (all Folder or any particular folder), tap on the Filter button on the top (Funnel Looking icon), Select the required options (single or multiple) and tap “Next” to view the results as per the filter conditions applied.

How do I Sort the Objects?

While being in a folder, tap on the Sort button on the top (Just left to the three vertical dots) >Tap on the Sorting method, and tap on “Sort”. If you want then you can also reverse the sort by tapping the “Reverse” button.

How do I Highlight/ prioritize /Star any object?

Search for the object you want to Highlight/ prioritize /Star and tap on it > Tap on the Star Button on the top right corner, to star it.

How do I remove the Highlight/ priority /Star from any object?

Search for the object you want to remove Highlight/ prioritize /Star and tap on it > Tap on the Star Button on the top right corner, to remove it.

How can I add data a.k.a., “Reminders/Archive/Calendar“content?

Open the App > Tap on the “+” Button->Change your content options, and add text to the box below > Then Tap on the “Save” button on the top right corner to save the content/object

You can add content/objects by using the Pop-Up. Open the app from which you want to add Information, long press the text to select it, then tap on “Copy” option >The SocioRAC dialog will pop-up >Choose from the content options and then tap on the “Save” button.

What will happen if I set a calendar entry on a specified time, say 4pm?

By default, our application is designed to meet your requirements, i.e. On the specified date, a reminder will occur on your notification section 2hr prior to the specified time. This will give you enough time to plan.

How do I add Files/Pics in my Content?

While adding a note/content or editing it, tap on the Attachment button on the top left utton. Select the appropriate file and follow the on-screen instructions.

I want to save a image, document, PPT, or excel from another app. How can I do it?

While being in that respective app, select the required images/files locate and tap on the “share” button. Now in the list of applications, find and tap on the “SocioRAC” option. This will create a new note with the image/file already attached.

How do I Edit my “Reminders/Archive/Calendar“ object after I have added them?

Go to the respective folder or search for your object, and then swipe right to edit the content. After editing with appropriate content, tap on the save button at the top right corner

How do I add tags on the already existing “Reminders/Archive/Calendar“objects?

You can add tags to single Content by directly editing it OR You can tap on the three vertical dots while being in a folder, and then select “Add Tag(s)”, >Select the multiple contents and tap ”Next” ->Select the tags and tap “Next” to confirm.

How do I delete the existing “Reminders/Archive/Calendar“objects?

For deleting single object swipe left on the item to delete and to confirm, tap on “OK” button

Tap on the “three vertical dots” a.k.a. “options” >tap on “delete” button >select the multiple objects you want to delete and tap next >to confirm tap on “OK” button

How do I move or copy “Reminders/Archive/Calendar“ objects between Folders?

Tap on the “three vertical dots” a.k.a. “options” >tap on “Move to Folder” or “Copy to Folder” button respectively >select the multiple objects you want to move or copy and tap next >Select the Folder to complete the operation

How do I merge different objects/contents?

Tap on the “three vertical dots” a.k.a. “options” Tap on “Merge” >Select the objects you want to merge and tap next > Tap “OK” button to confirm. PLEASE NOTE CONTENT WILL BE MERGED INTO THE FIRST NOTE SELECTED ALWAYS, meaning the
merged note will have the Source, folder and tags of the first note.

How do I print Single or multiple Objects/Contents?

Search for the object you want to print and tap it > on the top right there is a “Printer” icon, tap on the button >Follow the on-screen instructions and print your document.

Tap on the three vertical dots while being in a folder on the top right corner > Tap on the “Print” button >Select the multiple object(s) you want to print >Tap “Next” > Follow the on-screen instructions and print the document

How do I convert my content into a .PDF?

Follow the Instructions to print your document (as shown above in Print), and print your document as a PDF.

On the Introduction of app it reads, “One of the unique features of this app enables saving important E-mails received from specific e-mail IDs without any additional effort from the user.”, but I cannot find it in the app?

The BETA Version of the app doesn’t include that feature. It’ll be included in the later versions.
